Social Growth & Content Lead
About the Role
We are seeking a Social Growth & Content Lead to help build a new brand focused on increasing awareness around corporate fraud, governance failures, market manipulation, and investor advocacy.
This is not a traditional social media management role. The ideal candidate is equal parts content creator, community builder, growth strategist, and operator. You will work directly with the Director of Marketing to develop the brand voice, build engaged investor communities, create compelling content, test growth initiatives, and help establish the organization as a trusted voice within retail investor and financial communities.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Brand Development (40%)
- Create and publish daily content across X, Reddit, Discord, Telegram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Translate complex market events, SEC filings, earnings calls, investigations, litigation, and corporate governance issues into engaging and accessible content.
- Develop original content formats including threads, memes, infographics, videos, explainers, and community-driven campaigns.
- Help establish and evolve the brand voice across all social and community channels.
- Understand compliance considerations and exercise sound judgment when discussing market-related topics. Working closely with the content team for direction and QA.
- Leverage AI tools, proprietary dashboards, and emerging technologies to improve content production, research, workflow efficiency, and creative execution.
- Collaborate closely with leadership on creative direction, storytelling, and strategic messaging.
Community Building & Engagement (30%)
- Build and cultivate relationships with retail investors, researchers, journalists, creators, advocates, and market participants.
- Grow and manage highly engaged investor-focused communities.
- Foster discussion, participation, and user-generated content.
- Identify emerging conversations, community concerns, and opportunities for engagement.
- Provide ongoing feedback and strategic recommendations to the Director of Marketing based on community insights.
Growth & Experimentation (20%)
- Launch MVP campaigns, test new content formats, evaluate emerging platforms, and continuously refine content pillars.
- Measure performance and rapidly iterate based on results.
- Identify viral opportunities, cultural moments, and emerging narratives.
- Develop systems that convert awareness and engagement into long-term community participation and brand loyalty.
- Execute a test-and-learn approach to growth, experimentation, and audience development.
Paid Social & Distribution (10%)
- Support paid social initiatives and audience acquisition efforts.
- Test creative, targeting, and amplification strategies.
- Understand how organic content and paid distribution work together to accelerate growth.
Qualifications
Required
- Demonstrated success growing online communities and driving meaningful engagement.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Experience creating threads, graphics, memes, short-form video, and social-first content.
- Strong understanding of X, Reddit, Discord, Telegram, and community-led growth strategies.
- Comfort using AI tools for research, content development, workflow automation, and creative production.
- Ability to move seamlessly between strategy and hands-on execution.
Preferred
- Experience in investing, finance, fintech, financial media, journalism, shareholder advocacy, investigative reporting, or related industries.
- Familiarity with SEC filings, corporate governance, short selling, market structure, and retail investor communities.
- Experience translating complex financial or regulatory topics into compelling narratives.
- Experience managing or supporting paid social campaigns.
- Active participation in investing, trading, or financial communities is strongly preferred.

Compensation
- Salary $75,000-$95,000, commensurate with experience
