该职位来源于猎聘 Position Summary WPP China is seeking an experienced, energetic, and passionate Social Creative Lead to lead a small social creative team for one of our international client portfolios. The candidate will have a solid understanding on how to drive conversation and participation on Douyin, Red and Weibo as priority platforms, and will also be confident in briefing creators/ KOLs on creative platforms and also helping give advice and input to them. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of creating branded social content to drive awareness and engagement. Whilst this role will be focused on developing social first ideas, they will sometimes have to work within an overall integrated campaign framework, and will need to understand how to balance brand personas and what works best in social. You will be the trusted social expert for your client counterparts and a key connector across WPP Creative’s broader social capabilities, and other teams.
Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Quality Control: Lead the Social Creative Team and oversee the entire content production process. Drive creative planning, inspire team potential, attract top talent, and guide both internal teams and external partners (photographers, directors, etc.) in delivering creative excellence. Take full accountability for the team's overall delivery. Social Idea Generation & Execution Supervision: Independently develop and present big ideas with a systematic understanding of integrated communications. Lead brief interpretations and conceptualize campaigns that align with the tone of various social media platforms. Supervise the execution, ensuring that art and copy perfectly match strategic directives, the brand persona and WPP's creative standards, consistently driving tangible business results. Social Trend Acumen & Data Empowerment: stay current on latest trends and work that is successful in gaining earned engagement and driving UGC buzz.Possess a passion and curiosity to keenly grasp online trends across mainstream platforms (e.g., Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Bilibili). Derive fresh insights from data performance, and agilely adjust outstanding creative ideas based on data feedback. Cross-functional Collaboration & Resource Integration: Manage the daily operations and resource allocation of the Social Creative Team with a strong sense of cost control. Facilitate highly efficient cross-departmental communication to integrate content resources. Work closely with Account, Strategy and wider creative teams to actively contribute ideas and achieve expected goals collaboratively. Client Communication & Presentation: Maintain excellent communication with clients, developing a deep understanding of brand guidelines. Independently deliver highly expressive and compelling creative presentations using modern tools and technology (including AI and agentic solutions)
Qualifications Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in social branded content creation or social media communication, with at least 2 years in a 4A agency preferred. Possess out-of-the-box thinking and boundless passion for creativity. Excel at capturing trends and memes within the social environment. Proven track record of producing successful "breakout" campaigns backed by extensive social media operations experience. Keen “eye” for craft to international aesthetic standards, coupled with copywriting skills. Proficient in mainstream creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, 3D is a plus) and practical experience with AI generation tools. Excellent expression and communication skills. Ideally will have working understanding of English – but not essential for the right candidate. Minimum of 3 years of team management experience, plus extensive experience in creative execution and client relationship management. Act with integrity, demonstrating high respect and trust for team members. Broad vision, fast learner, and strong learning agility. Maintain an intense curiosity for emerging technologies (like AI) and a dedication to driving the creation of better work Portfolio should demonstrate recent social campaigns in China that drove engagement, conversations, and participation, and include examples from Douyin and RED.
