Our client in the personal care space is hiring a Social Commerce!
Role Overview
You will own and scale the affiliate growth engine across TikTok Shop and organic platforms. Your responsibility is to turn affiliate content into a predictable, scalable revenue system. You are accountable for:
- Affiliate TikTok Shop GMV (affiliate-only)
- Organic views from affiliate content (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
- Cost efficiency across all affiliate content (retainers, CPM, payouts)
You do not own brand account content, but you own the performance and flow of affiliate content across organic and paid channels. You own the affiliate system that drives revenue, distribution, and feeds high-performing content into paid channels (Meta, Google/YouTube ads, and other paid social platforms). You will report directly to the Founder and are expected to operate with high ownership.
What You’ll Do
- Own the Revenue Engine: Lead TikTok Shop GMV across affiliate and owned channels, delivering on topline and profitability targets with full accountability for cost structure (CPM, retainers, payouts)
- Build the Affiliate System: Scale affiliate content into a predictable, high-output engine, managing creator recruitment, onboarding, KPIs, retention, and remake velocity across a large active creator base
- Curate Strategic Assortments: Develop trend-informed product assortments tailored to TikTok Shop and emerging social commerce platforms, identifying breakout SKUs and doubling down on what converts
- Close the Paid Signal Loop: Extract winning hooks, angles, and creatives from affiliate content and package top performers for paid channels (Meta, Google/YouTube), ensuring TikTok signals compound across the full media mix
- Analyze, Forecast, Report: Own daily and weekly business recaps to leadership and cross-functional partners, driving sales forecasting, inventory planning, and SKU-level performance analysis
- Optimize the Merchandising Calendar: Build weekly, monthly, and seasonal plans that align with creator content, platform partnerships, and viral opportunities
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with ecomm, marketing, creative, influencer, planning, and ops to execute at speed
- Platform Relationships: Liaise directly with TikTok and other platform teams to unlock new programs, media initiatives, and affiliate opportunities
- Product Content Ownership: Own product page best practices, surface competitive insights, and project manage the PDP content process
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Track social commerce trends and bring sharp, actionable ideas to the table fast
