About the Role
We are hiring a Short-Form Content Producer who understands how ideas spread on the internet.
Your job is to translate Sophia’s philosophy, relationship science, modern dating culture, and human psychology into a compelling short-form video designed to capture attention and drive curiosity about Sophia. You will work closely with the founder and growth marketer to produce high-performing content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
This role is about volume, experimentation, and tasteful storytelling. Success in this role means consistently producing content that captures attention, drives engagement, and inspires people to learn more about Sophia.
What You’ll Do
Produce short-form video content across:
- Instagram Reels
- TikTok
- YouTube Shorts
Responsibilities include:
- Turn Sophia interviews, events, and ideas into 10–20 short videos per week
- Develop strong hooks and opening frames that stop the scroll
- Edit videos for pacing, retention, and narrative clarity
- Collaborate with the growth team to produce creative assets for paid advertising
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form distribution
- Stay ahead of platform trends and translate them into Sophia-aligned content
- Continuously test formats, hooks, and storytelling styles
- Organize a growing content library of reusable assets

Qualifications
- Experience creating high-engagement short-form video
- Strong editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, CapCut, or similar)
- Deep familiarity with TikTok, Reels, and Shorts formats
- Ability to turn abstract ideas into clear visual narratives
- Strong visual taste and attention to detail
Bonus:
- Experience working with creators, influencers, or startups
- Interest in psychology, relationships, or culture
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent production of high-quality short-form content that drive qualified membership applications
- Increasing engagement and view velocity across platforms
- Creation of repeatable content formats that perform well
- A growing library of content that supports Sophia’s growth engine
Compensation
Salary: $70,000 – $110,000 (depending on experience & track record of results). Or contract equivalent. Equity may be available for exceptional candidates.
