Position: Sessional Educator for Media Studies
Engage students as a Sessional Educator in a course focused on Sport Media and Culture. Explore vital connections between health, sport, and media through in-person instruction.

As part of the KPE
311H course, you’ll guide students in understanding how mass media shapes perceptions of health and athleticism. Responsibilities include course design, grading, managing assignments, and interacting directly with students. Your insights will enhance the classroom experience and promote critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging course materials

• Evaluate student performance through assignments and tests

• Conduct regular office hours for student inquiries

• Oversee TAs assigned to your course, if needed

• Foster a collaborative learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• PhD preferred in a relevant field

• Experience in teaching at higher education

• Knowledge of health literacy and media issues

• Dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion

• Capability to teach in-person classes
