We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor who can be involved from ideation to final delivery. This role requires hands-on work across shoot planning, short-form editing, and shaping narratives through visuals and on-screen text.
Responsibilities
- Provide creative inputs during ideation and share visual references, reel styles, and edit ideas
- Support the team with references and inputs for client decks
- Coordinate and execute brand shoots, planning shots with the final edit in mind
- Edit reels and short-form videos for Instagram and YouTube Shorts
- Add supers, captions, and on-screen copy to support the story
- Use match cuts, cutout transitions, speed ramps, and current reel formats
- Ensure edits align with brand guidelines, tone, and client requirements
- Optimize videos for platform formats and timelines
- Review and guide junior editors when required
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in video editing
- Experience working on brand shoots and short-form content
- Strong understanding of Instagram-first content and trends
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, transitions, and on-screen text
- A solid portfolio of reels or short-form brand edits
