We’re looking for a Video Editor who lives and breathes trends—someone who understands pacing, sound, and storytelling at a level where every frame has a purpose.
The Role
You will be responsible for editing high-performing social media content and ad creatives across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
This is about making content watchable, shareable, and impossible to scroll past.
What You’ll Do
1. Trend-First Editing
- Edit videos aligned with current platform trends (cuts, pacing, transitions, formats)
- Adapt editing styles based on what’s performing right now—not last month
2. Sound, Music & Timing
- Select and sync trending audio to enhance retention and emotional impact
- Understand beat drops, pauses, and rhythm to control viewer attention
3. Typography & Visual Hooks
- Use on-screen text, captions, and motion typography to drive engagement
- Create strong first 2–3 second hooks visually
4. Platform-Native Content
- Edit differently for each platform (TikTok vs Reels vs Ads)
- Ensure content feels native, not like traditional ads
5. Brand Adaptability
- Switch editing styles across industries (luxury, playful, corporate, community-driven)
- Maintain brand tone while still leveraging trends
6. Performance Collaboration
- Work closely with creative strategists and performance marketers
- Iterate edits based on metrics (watch time, CTR, engagement)
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of experience in social media video editing
- Strong command over tools like Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut/AI Tools
- Deep understanding of short-form content behavior
- Ability to edit fast without compromising quality
- Awareness of what’s trending globally and regionally
