Position Overview
Hedy & Hopp is looking for a driven, forward-thinking senior-level strategist who thrives on leveraging data and insights to transform marketing and engagement strategies. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping client success by addressing complex challenges and driving innovative solutions that fuel growth.
The strategy department serves as the backbone of our client engagement, ensuring every initiative is grounded in audience insights and aligned with business objectives. We value innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to delivering results that make a meaningful impact.
We have an immediate need for a Senior Strategist who is ready to tackle some of our clients’ biggest challenges, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop creative, growth-oriented strategies. This role is critical in ensuring that our work is customer-centric and data-driven, effectively extracting actionable insights from data and aligning all efforts to meet clients’ objectives and driving business goals.
The ideal candidate is a thoughtful and measured strategist who is comfortable taking a lead role while collaborating with key partners across account and activation teams. To excel in this role, you must bring enthusiasm for your craft, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to align teams strategically to deliver exceptional client value. , Furthermore, you must also have a strong brand and engagement strategy background, digital marketing understanding, background in audience definition, and messaging strategy.
Responsibilities/Areas of Focus:
- Conduct client and internal workshops in-person and virtually, when needed
- Develop comprehensive, brand and engagement marketing strategies, designed to drive results for clients
- Build content strategies
- Create audience personas and journeys
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance for campaigns and initiatives, always ensuring client success and the audience are kept top-of-mind
- Lead large client research projects, including due diligence and discovery project initiatives
- Formulate insights and knowledge into actionable engagement journeys and plans to drive brand engagement with the appropriate mix of channels, tactics, and messages
- Be the voice of the audience and brand when working collaboratively with creative, media, technology, and analytics teams to ensure tactics and messaging strategy support business objectives
- Lead client presentations for relevant strategic deliverables
- Conduct industry competitive research to inform growth opportunities
- Partner with account service on possibilities for organic account growth Partner with cross-functional teams across the agency to assess performance, recommend optimizations, and develop marketing plans
- Work with the analytics team to evaluate campaign performance and provide the client recommendations
- Participate in qualitative and quantitative research relating to audience, brand, culture, and media channels to derive meaningful insights
- Lead the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process, along with Account Service for assigned clients
- Mentor junior level strategists on the team
- Create and effectively communicate campaign briefs for teams across the agency
- Help facilitate training, for team members and clients, within areas of expertise
- Lead external and internal workshops
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a strategy role or one that is similar in function and responsibility
- Expertise in developing brand and engagement strategies, including audience segmentation and messaging.
- Strong ability to create high-quality, client-facing stories from disparate data sources and cross-functional team findings
- Strong presentation skills with experience engaging presenting information to clients and/or key stakeholders within an organization
- Familiarity with healthcare marketing and regulatory considerations is a plus
- Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams is preferred
