Company Description Nicely Done Productions is a UK-based video production company working with some of the world's leading organisations and brands. As we grow our US client base, we're looking for an experienced Senior Producer to be our stateside presence: a connector, a collaborator, and a creative force who bridges our UK team with the pace and scale of the American market. You'll work closely with our UK team to lead and support US-based projects, serving as the first point of contact for clients on the ground while feeding into a global pipeline of ambitious, story-driven content.
Role Description The Senior Producer role is a full-time position based on the East Coast of the US (ideally New York or Miami). The Senior Producer oversees end-to-end project delivery, including planning, resourcing, and scheduling for multiple productions. This role coordinates creative and technical teams, manages client relationships, and ensures that all deliverables meet quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include supervising pre-production and production activities, reviewing scripts and treatments, resolving issues on set and in post-production, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders. The Senior Producer also contributes to developing new business opportunities, refining production processes, and liaising with the UK Client Services/Production team.
Client & Account Management
- Serve as the senior day-to-day contact for a portfolio of US clients across brand, advertising, and editorial content.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships that drive repeat business and organic growth
- Lead client briefing sessions, translate ambiguous briefs into clear creative and production strategies
- Identify and develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients.
- Collaborate with the UK leadership team to shape the North American growth strategy
- Maintain clear communication rhythms between US and UK teams across different time zones
- Develop and oversee account strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Protect agency interests while maintaining relationships.
- Keep a general overview on projected monthly Outgoings
- Ensure all US activity is compliant with local employment, tax, and production regulations
Production
- Own full production lifecycle – from initial brief through pre-production, shoot/delivery, and post – for US-originated projects.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage US-based vendors, crew, talent, and locations for shoots.
- Coordinate closely with the UK production and creative teams to ensure alignment on brand standards and deliverables
- Attend and produce/direct US-based shoots.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in media or film production, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong skills in project and resource management, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships, negotiate expectations, and provide clear, professional communication.
- Experience overseeing pre-production, production, and post-production workflows, including risk management and problem-solving on set.
- Comfort with hybrid working arrangements, and the ability to work effectively
- Leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior staff, fostering inclusive team collaboration, and supporting a positive working culture.
- Familiarity with industry-standard production tools, documentation, and basic understanding of legal and compliance aspects of media projects.
- Relevant education or training in film, media production, broadcasting, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
