Job Summary:
THE PARK is seeking a Senior Designer to lead the development of Women’s Ready-to-Wear collections. This role requires a highly creative and conceptual designer with a refined aesthetic sensibility, exceptional taste level, and a strong focus on silhouette, proportion, color, texture, and seasonal storytelling.
The ideal candidate possesses a sophisticated understanding of luxury women’s apparel, including knitwear, woven categories, sweaters, and tailoring, with an elevated approach to construction, fit, and modern design.
● Collaborate closely with the Founder and Creative Director to translate and execute her creative vision through sketching, silhouette exploration, fabric development, and refined seasonal storytelling.
● Manage the seasonal design development for Women’s RTW collections across knits, wovens, sweaters, tailoring, and soft separates, creating elevated concepts that balance modern minimalism, functionality, and a cohesive layered wardrobe system aligned with the brand’s luxury aesthetic.
● Execute the complete design process from initial concept through final production, including sketching, CAD development, techpacks, presentation boards, and seasonal line sheets.
● Partner closely with Product Development and Production on fabric sourcing and development while researching premium textiles, yarns, and materials with a focus on hand feel, drape, performance, and sustainability.
● Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cohesive seasonal storytelling and consistency across all product categories.
● Maintain and update seasonal line sheets, techpacks, and design catalogs, ensuring all product information is accurate and aligned with calendar deadlines.
● Direct sample development, fittings, and proto reviews while ensuring execution meets luxury quality standards.
● Conduct ongoing market and trend research across luxury RTW, textiles, art, architecture, interiors, cultural references, and sustainability to inform seasonal direction.
● Ensure all milestones are achieved according to the seasonal calendar while managing multiple categories simultaneously.
● Support special design projects and strategic brand initiatives as assigned.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
● 3-6 years of experience in a similar role within luxury or advanced contemporary women’s fashion.
● Strong aesthetic sensibility with an elevated, refined point of view and deep understanding of luxury market positioning.
● Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills with exceptional
attention to detail.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative creative environment while managing multiple deadlines.
● Strong presentation and visual storytelling skills.
