We are seeking a natural leader who is highly detail-oriented and a self-starter with 5+ years of experience in the Interior Design industry. Prior Experience as a Senior Designer or Project Manager is a plus. A degree in Interior Design is required for this position. Very strong communication and people skills are very important, as well as a personality that will fit our vibrant firm. This position requires someone who is self-motivated, driven and will lead projects with confidence both in the studio and to clients and builders.
- A Senior Designer on our staff leads projects at all stages, from concept to completion, while successfully managing client relationships, budgets, and project timelines. They provide design leadership and mentoring to junior staff, while producing detailed drawings, specifications, and managing FF&E and Construction selections. They ensure projects meet our high standard for form and function. Most importantly, they put client communication and satisfaction above all else, ensuring the best possible experience.
Furnishings Role: lead manage, and execute high-end residential furnishings projects for houses 5,000 square feet and above from concept to completion within budget and timeline. Senior Designer will coordinate with Principal to lead all phases of design including conceptual design, space planning, selections, presentations, installation, etc. Senior Designer will coordinate with Junior Designers and Procurement manager to ensure accuracy for all orders. *Strong experience in executing custom furnishings and window treatments required.
Construction Role: Lead, manage, and execute high-end new build and remodel construction projects for houses 5,000 square feet and above. Senior Designer will coordinate with Principal on plan reviews, space planning, and conceptual design. Senior Designer will lead and manage selections, presentations, finish schedules, construction documents, etc with the Junior Designer.
- Strong experience in coordinating with builders, subcontractors, and trades required..
- Mentoring and directing their dedicated Junior Designer is required in this role to foster learning and ensure quality control.
- The Senior Designer manages relationships with clients, builders, custom workrooms, etc as the main point of contact.
- Must be able to maintain project budgets and ensure compliance with all client requirements.
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and 5+ years of experience in high end residential required.
- Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Excel. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Google SketchUp, Studio Designer, and 3D rendering is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
