Position Summary
To creatively design for the CAMILLA AND MARC brand, together with the Head Designer and Creative Director. Ensure the brand remains current while ensuring the DNA remains true to the CAMILLA AND MARC aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities
- Work together with the Creative Director, Head Designer and Designers to research and develop the key seasonal trends. Filter these trends to ensure they are in keeping with the brands DNA.
- Design
- Design on brand styles
- Source raw materials and trims for the season and develop where necessary. Work with existing suppliers on this and source new ones when required.
- Attend fit sessions to ensure all designed garments aesthetically meet CAMILLA AND MARC standards and that all garments achieve the required creative brief.
- Mentor junior design team members.
- Ensure all required range development timelines are met.
- Work closely with the rest of the design team to ensure collections are strong, innovative and cohesive.
About You
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar role in a high-end luxury fashion apparel brand
- A tertiary qualification or degree in Fashion Design
- Skilled in the Adobe Suite
- Microsoft Office
