The Senior Brand Manager is a strategic and critical role for driving long-term brand direction, meeting financial targets, and executing high-impact marketing activities. You will closely collaborate with the Commercial team and Global Marketing team to strengthen brand presence and deliver on market growth ambitions.
Define Brand Strategy and Activity Plans
- Set and execute on a three-year strategic plan, including brand objectives, price positioning, priority channels, and growth interventions.
- Develop annual brand plans with key financial, A&P, distribution, and promotional targets.
- Propose, develop and execute brand strategy including channel selection, product strategy, pricing strategy and go-to market approach.
- Evaluate and report on category/item performance, as well as provide suggestions on continuous improvement by leveraging strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer insights to create impactful brand positioning and long-term growth plans.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with the company’s objectives to enhance brand equity, drive sales, and align the brand's market positioning, ensuring that the brand, products (current and new), and marketing campaigns resonate with current and potential consumers.
- Regularly review and adjust brand plans to meet dynamic market needs.
Manage Brand Partnerships and Performance Reporting
- Monitor brand performance and evaluate growth drivers.
- Analyse competitor and industry insights to inform and adjust marketing strategy.
- Lead collaboration with the Global Marketing team and external agencies.
Achieve the Annual Budget
- Collaborate with the commercial team to drive P&L goals.
- Maintain budget alignment for Advertising & Promotion (A&P) spending.
- Identify and enhance activities to exceed budget expectations.
Ensure Excellence in Execution
- Lead creation and production of impactful marketing materials that are brand-aligned and cost-efficient.
- Implement effective consumer-facing campaigns across digital, social, and events channels.
- Optimize in-outlet activities, packaging updates, value-added packs (VAPs), and limited-edition packaging.
- Oversee sales briefing and develop compelling sales propositions and tools.
Strengthen Team Marketing Capability
- Establish and uphold effective processes and systems.
- Identify opportunities for team skill development.
- Act as an internal advocate for our brands and elevate brand-building standards across the organization.
Candidate's Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in brand management, including 3 years in the FMCG sector, ideally within multi-national and local contexts.
- Proven track record in managing brand P&L and effective execution across modern and traditional trade.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the white and/or brown spirits sector is a plus.
