Role Description
Senior Apparel Designer located in Canada. The Senior Apparel Designer will lead the design and development of innovative apparel collections that align with our brand’s vision and values. Key responsibilities include creating compelling designs, managing the design process from concept to final product, collaborating with cross-functional teams, researching market trends and sustainable production techniques, and ensuring alignment of designs with environmental and social considerations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Apparel Design, Fashion Illustration, and Textile Selection
- Knowledge and experience in Product Development, Pattern Making, and Garment Construction
- Proven ability to lead Creative Direction for apparel collections, with a focus on sustainable practices
- Research and trend analysis skills to stay ahead of market demands and sustainability innovations
- Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools
- Passion for sustainability and commitment to ethical design principles
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role
