We are an early-stage Consumer AI startup looking for a creative and highly driven Script Writer to join our content and marketing team.
You’ll be responsible for crafting engaging short-form video scripts, viral social media content, and high-converting ad scripts across platforms like Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, and Meta Ads.
This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, can spot trends before they peak, and knows how to turn ideas into content that captures attention and drives action.
What You’ll Do Develop attention-grabbing hooks and write compelling scripts for short-form videos (15–60 seconds).
Create engaging content that increases watch time, shares, engagement, and audience growth.
Research social media trends, viral formats, audience behavior, and emerging content opportunities.
Collaborate closely with video editors, creators, and the marketing team to bring scripts to life.
Brainstorm and conceptualize new content series, campaigns, and storytelling formats.
Build and maintain content calendars to ensure a consistent publishing schedule.
Analyze content performance metrics and use insights to improve future scripts.
Adapt global trends and formats for Indian audiences and cultural relevance.
Write scripts for ad shoots, performance marketing creatives, digital advertisements, and brand campaigns.
Work with the marketing team to translate business objectives into engaging storytelling.
Create compelling video titles, descriptions, and content angles that improve discoverability and engagement.
Stay updated with platform algorithm changes, creator trends, and content best practices.
What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience writing scripts for short-form video content, social media, or digital advertising.
Proven track record of creating content that drives strong engagement, views, or virality.
Exceptional understanding of hooks, storytelling, audience psychology, and retention techniques.
Experience writing performance marketing creatives and ad scripts is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, You Tube Shorts, and modern content formats.
Strong research skills and ability to identify trends before they become mainstream.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
Ability to adapt tone, style, and messaging across different audiences and content formats.
Data-driven mindset with experience using content performance insights to improve creative output.
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Familiarity with content creation workflows, production processes, and creator ecosystems.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Basic understanding of video editing and content production is a plus.
