Position: All Saints Anglican Church Music Director

Become the Music Director at All Saints Anglican Church in Whitby, shaping the musical landscape of the community. This part-time role focuses on creative and traditional worship through music.
You will contribute 14 hours each week to nurture the church’s music ministry, guiding both contemporary and traditional services. Your work, including organ and piano accompaniment, will resonate within the church, helping congregants connect spiritually through music. Engaging with a well-trained volunteer choir, your leadership will inspire musical excellence and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead innovative music programming in line with Anglican traditions
• Perform organ and piano for various services and events
• Train, rehearse, and evaluate choir members
• Partner with the Incumbent to select service music
• Oversee the church music library and report music usage
Requirements:
• Post-secondary music degree or Conservatory diploma
• Experience as a skilled church organist favored
• Training in choral direction and tonal production
• Ability to play additional instruments preferred
• Excellent people and volunteer management skills
