Promotions Producer
About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader Promotions, the Promotions Producer will be responsible for creating and producing in-house promotional content for television programs and events across PNG and the Pacific Hub Markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for producing in-house promotions and creating compelling promotional content for all programs and channels targeting PNG and Pacific Hub Markets.
- Developing engaging scripts for promotions, including voiceover content when required.
- Conduct on-location video shoot/interviews and edit promotional materials.
- Organize studio bookings, camera operators, and talent for shoots for both in-studio and on location.
- Produce promotions and trailers for local programs, major events including sports, or specific program episodes.
- Create television commercials (TVCs) and fillers.
- Design graphic templates using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Cinema 4D).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Media Production, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Film & Television, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in broadcasting or media industry.
- Proven work experience as a Promotions Producer or in a similar content production or broadcasting role.
- Proficient in Adobe Master Collection including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proficient in Digital Editing and Microsoft Office Word.
- Excellent scriptwriting, visual storytelling and conceptual development skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong team work and collaboration skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be creative and innovative.
