Role Description
This is a project-based position, on-site role for a Project Officer located in Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. As a Project Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing community-based programs, monitoring project progress, and ensuring objectives are met. Key tasks will include liaising with stakeholders, mobilizing community participation, preparing project documentation, and conducting assessments. You will also assist in brainstorming innovative project development ideas aligned with Rappo Indonesia’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including task coordination and deadline tracking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and community collaboration
- Proficiency in research and report writing, with attention to detail
- Background in environmental sustainability, community development, or related fields
- Adaptability, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently, as well as in team settings
- Prior experience in a social enterprise or with community-driven initiatives is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Social Work, Project Management, or equivalent is beneficial
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and a working knowledge of English
