Our Brooklyn facility supports high-volume contract manufacturing, producing uniforms, outerwear, and PPE for government and municipal clients.
We operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where precision, efficiency, and accountability are critical. Our team produces thousands of units each week, and we depend on organized, proactive individuals to help maintain smooth and timely production
Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Production Assistant to support daily operations on the factory floor. This entry-to-mid level role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy environment and is eager to gain practical experience in apparel manufacturing.
In this role, you will be instrumental in keeping production workflows organized, on schedule, and running efficiently across multiple lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and update delivery orders within internal systems
- Track daily and weekly production output
- Prepare and organize cut orders and production documentation
- Maintain accurate production logs, inspection records, and shipment details
- Organize and manage shared production files and records
- Prepare packaging materials and labeling for outgoing orders
- Monitor trim inventory and distribute materials to sewing teams
- Collaborate with production staff to ensure workflow continuity
- Assist with tracking inventory of fabrics, trims, and other materials
- Monitor production timelines and proactively flag delays or issues
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in apparel production, manufacturing, or administrative support (preferred, but not required)
- Basic understanding of garment production, or a strong willingness to learn
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working both on the production floor and in an office setting
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Spanish or Chinese language skills are a plus
