Production Artist I Jobs in Needham, MA at Creative Circle
Our entertainment client is seeking a Production Artist for a 6-month assignment (40 hrs/week). Candidates must be able to work onsite in Burbank, CA or Boston, MA in a hybrid capacity (exact onsite days TBD).
You will collaborate with 3D and Technical Artists and cross functional partners to create cinematic assets for performance driven marketing. This role focuses on recurring art tasks, asset cleanup, visual bug fixes, and supporting VFX, Animation, or Technical Art as needed. The team is experimental and actively explores new tools, workflows, and AI assisted creative technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and render 3D assets using Maya, Arnold, Blender, or similar tools
- Handle rigging, topology cleanup, and asset optimization
- Take assets through the full 3D pipeline and integrate them into builds
- Maintain naming conventions and asset organization
- Support marketing and user acquisition creative, including interactive formats
- Experiment with AI enabled tools and workflows
Requirements
- Experience with Maya, ZBrush, Substance, Photoshop, and related tools
- Experience working in Unity or game development environments
- Portfolio demonstrating strong 3D and technical art skills
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to learn quickly
Nice to Have
- Exposure to interactive ads or HTML playables
- Experience working on a small or game development team
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
