Key Responsibilities
- Manage the critical path to ensure all development milestones and delivery dates are met.
- Source fabrics, trims, and components that align with the design brief and the budget
. - Coordinate with the design and technical teams to create accurate Tech Packs for the factories.
- Negotiate costs with suppliers to achieve the required gross margin and target price.
- Monitor the sampling process
, ensuring prototypes are delivered on time and meet the quality standards. - Act as the primary point of contact for global vendors to manage the development of the collection.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product development or sourcing within the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric sourcing, and the manufacturing process.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PLM systems
; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus. - Highly commercial mindset with strong negotiation and communication skills.
