JOB TITLE: Product Designer
LOCATION: Dubai
REPORTS TO: Brand Marketing Director
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Product Designer, part of the Brand Team, will be responsible for designing and developing all products across the Maison's portfolio, ensuring consistency, desirability, and excellence throughout every consumer touchpoint. From fragrance bottles and packaging to ancillaries, gifting accessories, promotional items, and collateral, the role will contribute directly to shaping the visual identity and product experience of the Maison.
Reporting directly to the Brand Marketing Director, and working closely with Product Managers, Product Development, Purchasing, and external suppliers, the Product Designer will transform marketing briefs into innovative and production-ready designs, while maintaining the highest luxury standards.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Product Design & Creative Development
- Translate marketing briefs provided by the Brand Marketing team into compelling product concepts and design solutions.
- Design all primary and secondary packaging for fragrances and ancillary products.
- Create collateral and promotional assets including:
- Art of Gifting elements
- Sets & coffrets
- Gift With Purchase (GWP) items
- Samples and discovery tools
- Blotters
- Ensure all designs align with the Maison's visual identity, positioning, and luxury standards.
- Develop creative proposals, technical drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
Product Mock-Ups & Visualization
- Produce high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings for internal presentations and decision-making.
- Manage the creation of physical product mock-ups with external model makers and suppliers.
- Leverage AI-powered visualization tools to accelerate concept creation and design exploration.
Industrialization & Development Support
- Prepare and deliver all technical artwork files required for product development and manufacturing.
- Ensure accurate transfer of design files, specifications, and mock-ups to Product Development teams.
- Collaborate closely with Product Development and suppliers throughout the industrialization process.
- Review prototypes, color standards, materials, decorations, and production samples to ensure design integrity is maintained.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Managers to understand product vision, positioning, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Development, Purchasing, Operations, and external vendors to ensure feasibility and quality execution.
- Support innovation projects and contribute to the continuous evolution of the Maison's product offering.
PROFILE & COMPETENCIES
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Design, Packaging Design, or Industrial Design.
- Previous experience within Luxury, Fragrance, or related premium industries is required.
- Demonstrated experience developing products from concept through industrial production.
- Mandatory: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong proficiency in one or several of the following: Blender, Cinema 4D (C4D), Rhino, Maya, equivalent 3D modeling and rendering software
- Strong knowledge of AI-powered creative and visualization tools.
- Understanding of packaging materials, decoration techniques, printing processes, and manufacturing constraints.
- Strong creative sensitivity and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
