The Role
Girl&Bear Prague, The Home of The Makers at VCCP, is looking for a Mid-Weight Post Producer to join our creative production team. Working closely with the Integrated Creative Producer, you’ll help deliver high-quality post-production projects across departments and disciplines – on time, on budget, and craft without compromise.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where organisation, communication, and problem-solving are central to your day-to-day. You’ll support the management of post-production workflows from briefing through to final delivery, collaborating with internal teams, editors, designers, and external partners to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently.
From day one, you’ll be part of a cross-office team between London and Prague, supporting clients and campaigns across the UK, Central Europe, and Southeast Europe helping to shape work that is creative while also scalable and effective. Beyond project delivery, you’ll contribute to improving processes, refining workflows, and evolving how we approach post production across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend project briefings, weekly Production Status meetings, and weekly Post Production meetings.
- Interrogate briefs and proactively define the smartest, most efficient ways of working.
- Assess project requirements and brief resource needs to the bookings team.
- Prepare project budgets and develop detailed timing plans.
- Liaise closely with Integrated Creative Producers and wider project teams.
- Set up and maintain jobs on finance, time reporting, and shared server systems.
- Negotiate competitive rates with third-party suppliers and ensure purchase orders are raised accordingly.
- Manage project workflows, schedules, and resource allocation throughout the post-production process.
- Anticipate challenges early and provide clear, confident recommendations at every stage.
- Collaborate with internal teams and freelance talent from ingestion through to final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered to brief, on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with external post-production and VFX where required.
- Attend and direct voiceover recording sessions.
- Attend mixes, ensuring all scripts are supplied to their correct lengths and supply specs.
- Consolidate feedback and QC work prior to each share.
- Oversee clocking, quality control and final playout delivery, liaising with TV Admin for broadcast specifications.
- Negotiate and manage talent and music licensing requirements.
- Review, reconcile, and approve invoices against purchase orders.
- Champion best practices and contribute to the ongoing evolution of tools, processes, and ways of working.

Requirements
- Understanding of the Adobe CC suite, Protools, Cinema 4D, Nuke and DaVinci Resolve capabilities for delegating projects and planning timelines).
- Knowledge of TV, CTV, VOD, Digital processes and workflows.
- Experience with overseeing complex projects, with numerous stakeholders.
- Accomplished in working with and if necessary managing other freelance teams
