Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented freelance paid social assistant to help with the daily execution of paid social campaigns, specifically focused on boosting posts, creative uploads, ad assembly, and quality assurance.
All audiences, targeting, budgets, and strategy will be provided. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in organic social media, who has some experience working inside Meta Ads Manager and is interesting in developing an expertise within the Paid landscape.
Boosted Posts
- Boost Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest posts following provided instructions
- Confirm correct objective, budget, duration, and audience
Creative Upload & Ad Assembly
- Upload images and videos into Meta Ads Manager, and occasionally TikTok Ads Manager
- Assemble ads using provided copy, headlines, CTAs, and audiences
- Ensure correct creative is matched to correct ad sets
- Apply naming conventions and follow setup checklists
Copy & Creative QA
- Proofread ad copy for spelling, grammar, tone, and accuracy
- Check formatting across placements (feed, stories, reels, etc.)
- Flag any inconsistencies or missing assets before launch
Daily Platform Checks
- Perform light daily checks on live campaigns
- Flag disapprovals, errors, or delivery issues
- Escalate concerns to the manager (no optimization decisions required)
Organization & Admin
- Keep ad accounts organized and clean
- Track what’s live, paused, or scheduled
- Assist with screenshots or basic reporting when needed
Required Experience
- Experience managing or supporting brand social media accounts
- Comfort working inside Meta Ads Manager
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
- Reliable availability on weekdays
Nice to Have
- Exposure to paid social or boosted posts
- Experience working with creative assets and brand guidelines
- Interest in developing into a Paid Social Media Manager role in future
Hours: 2-3 hours per day, Monday–Friday / an average of 8-12 hours per week, $25/hr
