Job Summary /Description
KLTV is looking for an experienced newscast producer for its Emmy Award winning morning newscast. Good Morning East Texas is a high-octane, 2.5-hour newscast that operates with four producers, an editor, and five on-air staff members.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Co-Producing hour-long newscasts on weekday mornings
- Producer works in the control room booth during live newscasts, monitoring time, live shots, etc.
- Occasionally required to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Journalism degree or similar (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience is a plus for this position
