Job Ad – Motion Designer (Mid)
We are looking for a Motion Director / Editor who can lead how ideas move. Someone who can take a concept and elevate it through strong visual direction, craft and storytelling. You’ll bring a clear creative point of view, guide motion style and execution, and deliver work that feels sharp, modern and considered across every screen.

Your role
As a Motion Designer / Editor at Elastic, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high quality motion graphics and editorial content across social, digital, DOOH and broadcast. You will take briefs from concept through to execution, bringing stories to life through smart type led design, strong pacing and thoughtful editing. You will deliver polished content that is on brand, on time and built for every platform.
What you’ll do:
- Create high quality motion graphics for social, digital, DOOH and broadcast
- Bring ideas to life through storyboards, style frames and clear visual thinking
- Edit, assemble and version assets for multiple formats
- Collaborate with designers, editors, writers and producers to deliver polished work
- Work efficiently across several active projects while maintaining quality
- Stay across motion trends, workflow improvements and emerging tools
- Explore and incorporate smarter workflows including AI tools where they add value
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years as a Motion Designer / Editor
- Demonstrated experience producing motion for social, digital and TV formats
- Advanced After Effects capability paired with solid Premiere skills
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve and manage time under pressure
- Experience across multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality
- Confident communicator with both creative teams and client
- Meticulous with files, exports and delivery specs
- Attention to detail, great organisation and knowledge of Mac and PC workflows
- Interest in emerging workflows including AI driven tools
