As a Mid-weight Art Director at BRX, you play a key role in bringing campaign ideas to life through strong visual craft and digital-first thinking. You’re confident on the tools, curious by nature, and growing your ability to translate briefs into clear, compelling creative.

You work collaboratively with copywriters, designers and senior creatives, owning your execution and contributing ideas that push the work forward. You’re hungry to learn, open to feedback, and motivated by delivering work that makes an impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Expertise & Craft

  • Execute high-quality visual work across integrated, digital-first campaigns
  • Translate briefs into clear, on-brand visual solutions
  • Own craft, consistency and attention to detail across your outputs
  • Apply and follow established brand systems and visual languages
  • Jump on the tools to bring ideas to life across design, layout and content

2. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with copywriters, designers and senior creatives to develop ideas
  • Contribute constructively in creative reviews and team discussions
  • Present your work clearly in internal forums
  • Take on feedback openly and apply it thoughtfully

3. Delivery & Impact

  • Own the delivery of your work from concept through to final execution
  • Manage feedback and iterations efficiently while maintaining quality
  • Balance multiple briefs and deadlines with strong time management
  • Ensure outputs meet brand, channel and technical requirements

4. Growth & Leadership

  • Actively seek feedback and learning opportunities
  • Build confidence in your creative voice and decision-making
  • Support junior team members through collaboration and example
  • Contribute positively to team culture and ways of working

5. Innovation

  • Explore new tools, platforms and AI-enabled workflows
  • Bring inspiration and fresh references into the team

Experience & Skills

  • 5 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative team
  • Strong conceptual and executional design capabilities
  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and digital-first creative thinking
  • Experience presenting creative internally and externally
  • Interest in new tools, trends and emerging design technologies

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience, including superannuation and access to BRX’s employee benefits and learning programs.
