Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-weight Content Creator to join our growing team.
This role is all about creating fast, engaging, social-first content that taps into culture, trends, and platform behaviour in real time. We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands what people are engaging with online, and knows how to turn ideas around quickly without overthinking it.
You should be confident both behind and in front of the camera, comfortable presenting, interviewing or appearing in content yourself where needed. The ideal candidate understands how to create content that feels native to short-form platforms, with a strong instinct for trends, humour and audience engagement.
Job Requirements
This is a hands-on content creator role focused on reactive content, shooting, editing and presenting.
Non-negotiables
- Comfortable filming, presenting and appearing on camera
- Experience creating quick turnaround reactive content
- Confident shooting and editing content quickly using smartphones and DSLR cameras
- Proficient editing content using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or CapCut
Job Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
Content creation, shooting & editing
- Shoot high-quality social-first content across a range of formats and platforms
- Edit engaging short-form content
- Confidently appear in content where needed, including presenting, voiceovers, interviews or trend-led formats
- Where relevant, create content at pace while maintaining strong creative instincts and attention to what performs socially
- Confidently create both reactive and planned content without compromising quality
Creative development & ideation
- Generate original and trend-led content ideas rooted in internet culture and platform behaviour
- Collaborate with Creative and Social teams to develop compelling creative concepts
- Bring fresh ideas for formats, hooks, storytelling styles and creator-led executions
- Stay tapped into culture, trends and evolving platform behaviours, understanding what’s worth reacting to and what isn’t
Production & collaboration
- Manage smaller shoots independently and work quickly in fast-paced environments
- Create detailed shot lists and visual breakdowns ahead of shoots
- Adapt to reactive briefs and changing priorities with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
- Support with creative problem solving during production and post-production
- Present and talk through creative thinking internally and with clients where required
- Collaborate closely with social, strategy and creative teams to ensure content is timely, relevant and engaging
