About the Position
Thinkso is looking for a mid-level or senior project manager with 2 – 6 years of direct experience. The right candidate is a proactive, resourceful, and strategic thinker with experience managing a wide spectrum of digital and print communications projects, but who is also interested in learning and adopting Thinkso’s rigorous best practices for project management. This is a single position that we’ll fill at either the mid level (“Project Manager”) or “Senior Project Manager” level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience. Both levels are described in detail below.
As a mid-level project manager (2 – 4 years of relevant experience), you’ll manage some of Thinkso’s small and mid-size client accounts and support senior project managers on large accounts—working closely with our senior PMs and agency leaders and learning from the best while building your creative project management skills across a wide array of media.
As a senior project manager (4–6+ years of relevant experience), you’ll manage mid-size and large client accounts with light oversight—a dual account management/project management role. Strategic thinking is a key component of every role at Thinkso; for our senior project managers, this means serving as a thought partner to our clients as well as to our internal creative teams, and helping train and mentor more junior project managers.
To qualify at either level, you must have:
- Requisite years of project management experience at a creative agency or as part of an in-house creative services team (see above)
- A thorough understanding of the creative process across an array of deliverables and channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great client service and relationship-building skills
- An organized, linear, and systematic nature, and an eagerness to learn
- Proficiency on the Mac platform and Google Docs
- A can-do and never-let-it-fail attitude
- Alignment with Thinkso’s core values
- The ability to thrive in a remote work environment
To qualify at the senior level, you’ll also bring:
- Experience managing creative projects for the financial services sector and a strong understanding of its subject matter as related to creative communications (experience with sophisticated financial services is a plus)
- The ability to act as a strategic thought partner to clients and internal creative teams
- Experience (or strong interest in) mentoring and training junior project managers
Role & Responsibilities
Project managers at Thinkso are responsible for managing all aspects of the client and internal projects assigned to them, with level-appropriate oversight from senior leaders, and according to our processes and protocols, as outlined in our Project Management Handbook. Responsibilities span these key areas:
- Client communications and relationship-building
- Project and workflow management, including schedules, briefs, and quality control on all client deliverables
- Staffing and resource allocation
- Vendor sourcing and management (printers, illustrators, animators, programmers, and more)
- Budgets, estimates, and monthly invoicing

- Salary: $75,000 (Project Manager) or $100,000 (Senior Project Manager), plus opportunity for annual bonus. Each salary is fixed for its level and non-negotiable.* The level we hire at—and therefore the salary—is determined by your experience, and we’ll tell you which level we’re considering you for early in the interview process.
