Overview
As Marketing Lead at SAU LEE, you will shape how the brand is seen, felt, and talked about globally.
Working closely with the Founder and Creative Director, you will lead the development and execution of SAU LEE’s brand and marketing strategy across PR, influencer, social media, and brand activations. Your focus is to build cultural relevance, brand desirability, and a strong, differentiated point of view in the global fashion landscape.
You will partner closely with external agencies while taking ownership of key brand-building initiatives in-house. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on execution, with a strong instinct for storytelling, cultural relevance, and brand building.
This role will work closely with performance and ecommerce functions, ensuring brand initiatives translate effectively into commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Own and lead SAU LEE’s brand and marketing strategy across PR, influencer, social media, and brand activations
- Ensure all marketing initiatives ladder up to a clear and consistent global brand narrative
- Translate brand vision into impactful campaigns that build awareness, desirability, and cultural relevance
- Work closely with the Founder and Creative Director to shape brand direction, storytelling, and creative output
PR, Influence & Cultural Relevance
- Lead global PR strategy in partnership with external agencies, ensuring strong execution and clear direction
- Drive earned media, placements, and brand moments that position SAU LEE within fashion and cultural conversations
- Oversee influencer and KOL strategy, focusing on brand alignment, storytelling, and long-term partnerships
- Identify and create opportunities to embed SAU LEE within key cultural and social moments
Social Media & Content
- Own and evolve SAU LEE’s organic social media strategy, ensuring a strong, consistent, and distinctive brand presence
- Lead content direction and planning across channels, balancing brand storytelling with audience engagement
- Oversee content creation in collaboration with internal and external teams
- Monitor performance and optimize content strategies to drive engagement and brand growth
Campaigns & Brand Activations
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across product launches and key brand moments
- Oversee brand activations including events, press previews, and collaborations
- Ensure campaigns are designed to translate into both brand impact and downstream commercial performance
- Collaborate with digital and ecommerce teams to align campaign messaging with conversion strategies
Performance Alignment & Commercial Impact
- Partner closely with performance and ecommerce functions to align brand initiatives with revenue goals
- Contribute to overall business growth by ensuring marketing efforts support both brand equity and sales
- Provide clear direction on campaign narratives, content, and creative for performance marketing use
- Support measurement and reporting of marketing impact across brand and commercial metrics
Team & Agency Leadership
- Lead and develop the brand and marketing function, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Act as the key point of contact for PR and creative agencies, ensuring accountability and quality of execution
- Align internal teams including merchandising, e-commerce, digital, and creative to ensure cohesive delivery
- Build scalable processes and ways of working as the brand continues to grow
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in marketing, PR, or brand roles, preferably within fashion or luxury
- Proven experience in a leadership or ownership role within brand or marketing
- Strong understanding of global fashion, media, and cultural landscapes
- Demonstrated ability to build brand awareness and cultural relevance through PR, influencer, social media, and campaigns
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional teams
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of how brand drives business performance
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Appreciation for design, craftsmanship, and brand storytelling
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working across global markets including US, UK, EU, Middle East, and Asia
- Background in contemporary or luxury fashion brands
- Experience scaling brand or marketing functions in growing businesses
- Strong network across media, stylists, influencers, and industry contacts
- Familiarity with performance marketing and ecommerce environments
