Marketing Lead
Bullpen | Greater Chicago Area (Hybrid)
Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (2–3 days in office)
Bullpen is partnering with a growing real estate investment and asset management platform to hire a Marketing Lead to drive investor communications and capital markets marketing strategy.
This is a high-impact role for a marketing professional who can both own the narrative and execute at a high level, leading the development of investor-facing materials and shaping how the firm presents itself to institutional and high-net-worth capital partners.
You will work directly with senior leadership and the capital markets team to support fundraising initiatives, elevate branding, and build a scalable investor communications function.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and evolution of investor marketing materials including pitch decks, fact sheets, quarterly reports, and fundraising presentations
• Own the firm’s investor-facing narrative and ensure consistency across all marketing and communication channels
• Design high-quality, visually compelling materials for capital raising initiatives and investor engagement
• Partner with leadership and capital markets to support fundraising strategy and execution
• Oversee investor communications distributed through CRM systems and investor portals
• Establish and maintain brand standards across all materials and touchpoints
• Coordinate materials for investor meetings, roadshows, and select events
• Identify opportunities to improve and scale marketing processes, tools, and output
Qualifications
• 5–8+ years of marketing experience, ideally within real estate, private equity, investment management, or financial services
• Strong experience developing investor-facing materials (pitch decks, fundraising presentations, reporting packages)
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign preferred)
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a lean environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex investment strategies into clear, compelling messaging
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution
• Experience working with capital markets, IR, or fundraising teams is highly preferred
