The Role: What You’ll Do
As our Marketing & Communications Specialist, you’ll be the bridge between our screen and the audience. You’ll wear many hats; from event planner to publicist, ensuring every guest feels the B&B mission from the moment they walk in.
- Be a Brand Champion: Collaborate with location and corporate teams to set marketing goals that get people excited about coming to the movies.
- The Ultimate Host: Oversee the planning and execution of major theatrical releases, private parties, and VIP rentals.
- Build Bridges: Manage relationships with film studio reps, local media, on-site talent, and our wonderful guests.
- Publicity Pro: Work with our events team to find creative PR and advertising opportunities that make headlines.
- All Hands on Deck: Support the theatre team whenever needed – whether that’s representing our core values to the press or jumping in to help keep our space sparkling clean for the next show.
Who You Are
You’re more than just a resume; you’re a people person with a passion for entertainment. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: A proven track record in marketing, event management, and public relations.
- Creativity: A knack for developing promotional strategies that stand out in a crowded market.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills – you can talk to anyone, from a studio executive to a first-time moviegoer.
- The Details: Strong organizational and reporting skills (you know how to track your wins!).
- Flexibility: Availability to work a schedule that includes regular opening and closing shifts (because the magic happens at all hours!).
- Requirements: Must be 18+ years old and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 lbs. Mental stamina is key for those busy, exciting blockbuster weekends!
