About the Role
Britannia is expanding! We are looking for an experienced part-time individual who will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering both internal / external marketing and communications activities, while providing comprehensive support across the entire marketing and communications programme. This Asia-focused role will report to the Head of Communications based in London.
We are looking for someone with excellent English language skills, and passionate about marketing/communications ideally from an insurance or professional services background. You are someone who is able to work independently, a team player and a fast learner. Your Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Planning and organising marketing and communications campaigns and activities across Asia, working alongside the London team
- Providing marketing and communications support to loss prevention and underwriting teams in Singapore
- Managing our social media presence with a focus on Asian events and activities, including posting regularly, driving engagement, growing our followers in Asia and monitoring activity
- Managing digital communications, including email campaigns and updating the website
- Planning and organising events locally, including planning for an Academy in Asia and providing support for the annual Asian Members Forum
- Managing design and production of publications, both print and digital, as required, and managing designers, agencies and translators when appropriate
- Managing design and production of marketing materials and promotional items including identifying appropriate gifts, sourcing local suppliers and managing the production process
- Planning, organising and delivering external communications activities, including providing PR and media support and supporting editorial and content development processes
- Managing, editing and updating content on the intranet (TR Hub)
- Supporting the Head of Communications in establishing and developing regular measurements and reporting of marketing and communications activities
- Capability to manage and support key marketing processes and systems including Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Hootsuite and Adobe InDesign
- Planning, organising and delivering internal communications activities in Singapore and across the Asian Hubs
- Support other marketing and communications activities and initiatives as required
About You
Knowledge/Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in marketing / communications, ideally from insurance/professional services.
- Understanding of principles of marketing and communications
- Understanding and experience of managing the design and production of publications and marketing materials
- Understanding of social media and digital communications
- Understanding and some experience in organising corporate events
- Understanding and some experience of internal communications
- Understanding of the insurance industry is a plus
- Computer literate and familiar with all MS Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Qualifications/Education
- Degree holder or equivalent (preferably with a major in Marketing or Mass Communications)
