Marketing Brand Manager, Professional Channel
The Marketing Brand Manager, Professional Channel is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth within the professional stylist and salon community. This role leads professional go-to-market initiatives for product launches, creates programs that inspire stylist adoption and advocacy, and supports meaningful brand experiences through education, events, and community engagement. Working cross-functionally with education, sales, product development, creative and digital teams, the Marketing Manager ensures that marketing initiatives align with the needs of stylists and salons while supporting overall professional channel growth. This role also leverages industry insights and feedback from the professional community to continuously refine strategies that strengthen the brand’s presence and partnership within the salon industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute professional marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, stylist adoption, and loyalty within the salon and professional stylist community.
- Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for professional product launches, creating compelling storytelling, marketing toolkits, and educational support for stylists and salons.
- Create marketing programs that engage and inspire the professional community, strengthening relationships with stylists, salon owners, and educators.
- Partner closely with education and sales teams to align marketing initiatives with stylist training, sales strategies, and salon business growth.
- Support the development of professional events, classes, and brand experiences that deepen engagement and elevate the brand within the stylist community.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, product development, and field teams to deliver cohesive marketing programs for the professional channel.
- Leverage insights from stylists, salons, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies and continuously improve professional engagement and performance.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in brand or marketing roles within the beauty, professional haircare, or salon industry.
- Strong understanding of the professional salon landscape, including stylist needs, sales relationships, and professional education models.
- Proven experience leading product launches and developing integrated marketing programs within a professional or B2B channel.
- Demonstrated ability to build marketing initiatives that engage professional communities such as stylists, educators, and salon owners.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales, education, product development, and creative teams.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate product innovation and technical information into compelling marketing messaging.
- Experience supporting professional events, trade shows, classes, or stylist education programs is highly preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use market insights, feedback from field teams, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
- Passion for the professional beauty industry and a deep appreciation for the craft of hairstyling and the stylist community.
This is a regular, full-time, salaried, in-office position located at our headquarters in Concord, California.
Target Salary Based on Experience
The standard range for this position is $105,000 – 120,000 per year, plus bonus
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and competitive bonus achievement. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits.
