Adecco Creative is partnering with a global fashion house to recruit for a Manager, Global Visual Production role. This position will be a 6-month contract and hybrid schedule in Midtown Manhattan.
Overview
The Manager, Global Visual Production (Temporary) supports the execution and delivery of physical brand expressions across global markets during a defined contract period. This role focuses on driving the timely and high-quality execution of visual merchandising and store design concepts.
Operating at the intersection of creative and production, this role ensures that key consumer-facing touchpoints are delivered with precision, consistency, and efficiency, partnering closely with internal teams and external suppliers. This role will also oversee a Coordinator, providing day-to-day direction and support to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Production Execution & Delivery
- Manage the execution of visual production projects from concept handoff through fabrication, logistics, installation, and completion
- Oversee prototyping process and sample library
- Drive delivery across in store fixtures and visual merchandising props
- Follow established production processes, tools, and workflows
- Build and maintain project timelines and trackers across multiple deliverables
- Proactively identify and escalate risks to ensure smooth execution
- Ensure all work aligns with creative intent, brand standards, and regional requirements
- Support post-project evaluations as needed
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Visual Merchandising, Visual Experience and Store Design teams to support seamless project execution
- Collaborate with Retail Operations, Procurement, North America Distribution Center and regional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Translate creative direction into clear production plans, timelines, and deliverables
Supplier Management
- Work with existing supplier and production partners to execute projects efficiently
- Support supplier briefings, ensuring clarity of scope, timelines, and expectations
- Track supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Assist, where needed, in sourcing suppliers to support project needs
Procurement & Budget Support
- Partner with Procurement on scopes of work, RFP processes, and supplier selection
- Support SOW development and ensure alignment with project needs
- Manage day-to-day budget tracking and assist in maintaining oversight of production spend
- Support invoice processing and payment coordination in line with internal protocols
- Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and scalable solutions
Team Support & Oversight
- Provide day-to-day guidance and direction to a Visual Production Coordinator
- Delegate project tasks and support workload prioritization to ensure deadlines are met
- Review and oversee Coordinator deliverables for accuracy and completeness
- Foster a collaborative and organized working dynamic to support team efficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production, visual merchandising, store design, or experiential environments
- Experience executing retail or experiential production across multiple markets
- Strong understanding of fabrication, materials, and installation processes
- Experience working with suppliers in a production capacity
- Familiarity with Procurement processes, including SOWs and budgeting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Highly execution-focused with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable and able to ramp quickly into existing workflows
- Solutions-oriented with the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
- Collaborative and proactive in cross-functional settings
- Accountable and dependable, with a focus on delivering results within timelines
