Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic brand plans and marketing strategies to drive growth for the product line.
- Study market research and competitive analysis data to identify opportunities and gaps in the market.
- Define and position the product portfolio to enhance brand equity and achieve business goals.
Product Content Strategy Development:
- Participate in the annual planning process to align with the brand objectives
- Develop and execute product content strategies that align with product launches, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Create content calendars that ensure timely, relevant, and engaging content across various platforms that also delivers as per the objectives
- Ensure consistency of product messaging across all content touchpoints (website, social media, blogs, etc.).
Marketing & Campaign Execution:
- Develop integrated marketing campaigns for stores, website & app to support product launches and ongoing initiatives.
- Work with creative and content agencies to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns based on performance metrics.
Product Asset Development:
- Lead the creation of product packaging designs, manuals, guides, and any other print, digital assets or fixtures to support product marketing.
- Lead the development and production of high-quality product assets, including product photography, videos, 360-degree views, product demonstrations, and other multimedia assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors & agencies to produce product-specific visual assets for use across e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, social media, and promotional materials.
- Write clear, persuasive, and compelling product copy, including descriptions, key selling points, and technical specifications for websites, e-commerce platforms, and social media channels.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
- Work closely with the Buying, QA, and Sales teams to ensure content accurately reflects the product's value proposition and resonates with target audiences.
- Coordinate with digital marketing teams to ensure content is aligned with campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Provide content support for product-related campaigns, including product launches, social media, and influencer marketing.
Content Management & Maintenance:
- Manage the content lifecycle, ensuring content is regularly updated and relevant as products evolve and new features are released.
- Maintain an organized content library, ensuring all product content is easily accessible for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all product content aligns with brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent and cohesive brand identity.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Track and measure the success of product content (click-through rates, conversion rates, engagement metrics, etc.) and report on key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to incorporate customer insights and FAQs into product content.
- Continuously refine content strategy based on performance metrics and customer feedback.
Budget and P&L Management:
- Develop and manage the product’s marketing budget.
- Track product performance, ensuring that ROI is maximized and within financial objectives.
Brand Communication:
- Oversee brand communication efforts, including advertising, public relations, and digital content creation.
- Maintain consistency in voice, tone, and identity across all communication channels.
