Job Description / Responsibility
- Must have the ability to plan & execute orders from his/ her own sources (buyer).
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers` expectations and company`s objectives.
- Develop and maintain excellent business relations with the buyers to serve their interest and requirement for smooth Business.
- Strongly capable of handling quantitative analysis, Buyer corresponded and created creative work, any Merchandising file of an order starting from new development.
- Prepare a production plan & shipment plan for proper execution of sampling and Production according to "Time and Action Calendar" on a regular basis with production.
- Monitor and assist in the development & creation of new buyers for expanding the business.
- Meet & deal with Producer/supplier independently for all merchandising activities including costing & price negotiation.
- Create a channel for sourcing materials for new development.
- Maintain communication between producer/vendor for all short of development / production and other issues.
- Handling supply/production problems if they arise.
- Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.
- Communication with other department heads or managers to ensure a smooth production process.
- Leading Supervising merchandising team.
- Excellence /Fluency in English speaking, listening and writing to communicate with Buyers regarding production status and receiving new orders.
- Any other responsibility as assigned by the Management.
Educational Requirements
- MBA in Marketing / MBA in Textile Technology / Post-Graduation.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Garments,Textile,Spinning
Additional Requirements
- Skills Required: Marketing, Merchandising.
- Buyer Handling, Knit garments Merchandising and Marketing Product design
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Buying House, Garments, Textile
- At least 5 years` experience as a " Manager/ Sr. Manager of Marketing & Merchandising" in any garments / buying house with specific emphasis on Knit Garments.
