Role Overview
We're looking for a highly strategic and creatively driven Lead Design to lead brand storytelling, integrated campaigns, and creative direction across channels.
This role combines big-picture brand thinking with hands-on creative leadership. You'll shape compelling narratives, elevate Amber's visual identity, and lead multidisciplinary creative teams to deliver culturally relevant, high-impact campaigns across digital and offline touchpoints.
As the design lead, you'll manage a team spanning graphic design, motion design, video production, and creative execution while collaborating closely with copywriters, marketers, product teams, and external agencies. You'll also champion the adoption of AI-powered creative tools and workflows to improve speed, efficiency, and creative quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, ideation, and execution of integrated creative campaigns while ensuring a consistent global visual identity across all channels.
- Own the creative direction for Hero, Hub, and Hygiene content initiatives.
- Drive brainstorming sessions and concept development, bringing fresh and innovative design ideas to every campaign.
- Oversee creative delivery across Amber's global marketing channels, including:
- Social-first content
- Paid media creatives
- Brand campaigns
- Website and landing pages
- Digital and offline marketing assets
- Lead campaign planning and creative execution in partnership with marketing, creators, agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Establish, maintain, and evolve Amber's visual identity and design systems to ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Mentor and lead a multidisciplinary design team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and design excellence.
- Drive the adoption of AI-powered creative workflows across design, content production, ideation, and asset generation.
- Ensure all creative output aligns with business goals while maintaining a high standard of craft and execution.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12+ years of experience in creative design, brand marketing, advertising, or visual communication.
- Proven experience leading brand campaigns and developing scalable design systems.
- Strong portfolio showcasing:
- Brand identity development
- Integrated marketing campaigns
- Art direction
- Visual storytelling
- Digital-first creative work
- Strong understanding of digital design, social-first content, and audience behavior.
- Exceptional visual taste with a keen eye for typography, layout, motion, and branding.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary creative teams and managing agency relationships.
- Proficiency with industry-standard creative tools and an enthusiasm for leveraging AI to enhance creative workflows.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and leadership skills.
