About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Content & Storytelling who understands culture, conversation, and storytelling deeply. Someone who can think beyond campaigns and create content that feels human, relatable, and engaging across formats. This role requires a strong creative thinker who can build narratives, write sharp conversational briefs, and lead content thinking across digital, brand, and community touchpoints.

This person will lead and collaborate with a cross-functional creative team including copywriters, content creators, video editors, graphic designers, and external creative partners to bring the brand narrative alive across platforms.

The ideal candidate should love food, people, internet culture, and storytelling in all forms — from short-form social hooks to long-form editorial narratives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall content strategy and storytelling direction for the brand.

• Manage and mentor a team of copywriters, content creators, graphic designers, video editors, and freelancers/agencies.

• Build a collaborative and creatively strong content ecosystem across functions.

• Create strong conversational and insight-led content briefs for internal teams, creators, agencies, and production partners.

• Develop content narratives across:

o Social media

o Brand campaigns

o Founder-led content

o Community storytelling

o Video-first platforms

• Drive ideation and execution for video content, social storytelling, shoots, and campaign narratives.

• Understand platform behavior and create content suited for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, podcasts, and emerging formats.

• Build culturally relevant and emotionally engaging storytelling ideas.

• Collaborate closely with marketing, design, brand, growth, and business teams.

• Ensure consistency in tone of voice, visual storytelling, and brand language across touchpoints.

• Identify trends, internet conversations, and cultural moments relevant to the brand.

• Bring structure, timelines, and creative direction to the content process while maintaining quality and agility.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in content, storytelling, brand communication, editorial, or creative strategy.

• Prior experience managing creative teams including writers, designers, and video/content teams.

• Strong understanding of both short-form and long-form storytelling.

• Excellent writing, communication, and narrative-building skills.

• Ability to create highly conversational, insight-driven, and creator-friendly briefs.

• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and content production.

• Someone who understands internet culture, consumer behavior, and community-led storytelling.

• Experience working with lifestyle, food, hospitality, fashion, culture, or consumer brands is preferred.

• Strong aesthetic and narrative sensibility.

• Ability to think strategically while also being hands-on with execution.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving brand environment.
