Food Stylist, Grazing Table Designer & Event Set-Up Specialist ($22-$25 per hour)
Location: Toronto, ON (Elle Cuisine HQ)
Reports To: Ownership / Event Operations Team

We are looking for a creative, hands-on, and highly organized Food Stylist & Event Set-Up Specialist to join our growing team.
Position Overview
This hybrid role combines day to day maintenance of catering operations with onsite food styling, grazing table design, event set-up, and logistical support.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design and presentation, enjoys working in fast-paced event environments, and takes pride in creating visually impactful food displays and event experiences.
This role requires both creativity and operational execution, from styling luxury grazing tables and buffet displays to loading vehicles, delivering event materials, and completing on-site setups.
A valid driver’s license and confidence driving throughout the GTA are required.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Styling & Presentation
- Style and arrange food displays for catered events, corporate functions, weddings, and private clients
- Create visually elevated buffet tables, canapé displays, dessert tables, and branded food activations
- Ensure all food presentation aligns with the elle cuisine aesthetic and service standards
- Garnish and finish platters and displays on-site before guest arrival
- Maintain consistency, cleanliness, and visual quality throughout events
Grazing Table Design
- Design and execute luxury grazing tables and grazing stations
- Arrange cheeses, charcuterie, fresh produce, breads, desserts, and décor elements in an abundant and visually balanced format
- Incorporate styling elements such as florals, risers, linens, signage, and serving pieces
- Maintain freshness and food safety standards during setup and service
- Assist with seasonal menu and display development ideas
Event Set-Up & Logistics
- Load, transport, and unload event equipment, décor, and food safely
- Complete event setups and breakdowns efficiently and professionally
- Assist with placement of rentals, décor items, signage, serving ware, and furniture
- Ensure event spaces are clean, polished, and guest-ready
- Work collaboratively with chefs, planners, service staff, and venue teams
Deliveries & Operational Support
- Drive company vehicles for deliveries and event logistics throughout the GTA
- Maintain organization of styling inventory, décor items, platters, risers, and serving pieces
- Assist with packing event equipment and ensuring accurate inventory returns
- Support kitchen and operations teams during busy production periods as needed
What You BringExperience & Skills
- Experience in catering, events, hospitality, food styling, visual merchandising, or event design
- Strong eye for aesthetics, detail, and presentation
- Experience creating grazing tables or styled food displays is strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in both kitchen and event environments
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly during live events
Requirements
- Valid G2 or G driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable driving throughout Toronto and the GTA
- Ability to lift and move catering equipment, décor items, and event materials
- Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
