Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Istanbul for a Junior Graphic Designer & Digital Brand Assistant. The role supports the visual identity and digital presence of Sunset Grill&Bar across online and offline channels. Day-to-day tasks include creating graphics for social media, website, email campaigns, and printed materials, as well as adapting existing designs to various formats. The team member will assist with logo and brand asset applications, prepare visual content that reflects the restaurant’s fine dining concept, and ensure brand consistency in all materials. Responsibilities also include collaborating with marketing and operations teams, organizing design files, coordinating with external vendors when needed, and supporting basic photo editing and layout work for presentations and menus.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with the ability to translate brand concepts into clear visual outputs.
- Experience or interest in Logo Design and Branding to support the development, editing and application of consistent Instagram Reels, Story and other digital platforms videos.
- Good understanding of Typography and its role in creating elegant, legible, and on-brand layouts for special events, campaigns and occasions.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalent).
- Portfolio demonstrating creative work, preferably including hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
- Attention to detail, strong sense of aesthetics, and the ability to follow brand guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and reports to Digital Brand Manager.
- Basic knowledge of digital and social media formats (image sizes, best practices) is an advantage.
- Relevant education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Istanbul and occasionally adapt to restaurant hours or special event needs.
