Chive is a design-driven creative company. We design our own lines of plant pots, floral vases, candles, cards, and so much more. Since 2004, we've expanded from Toronto to California and England by refusing to deal with vanilla-loving multinationals and staying fiercely committed to design.
The Role
You'll work under our Senior Graphic Designer / Senior Studio Artist to bring the Creative Director's aesthetic vision to life across packaging design, new product development, and advertising campaigns. Day-to-day, that means shooting and collecting photo and video assets, organizing and prepping assets for web platforms, building email marketing materials, preparing social content, and designing product packaging to precise direction.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in Graphic Design or equivalent studio experience
- 2–3+ years working in a company under $5M in revenue — backend web updates, hero images, social media, weekly newsletters
- Full Adobe proficiency (we mean all of it)
- Shopify backend experience — moving data and assets quickly
- Strong photography background — this is a large part of the role
- Highly organized with strong time management and the ability to juggle 10 projects with 1–6 month deadlines
- Comfortable taking direction and implementing constructive feedback fast
- Asks questions immediately when something isn't clear
- Comfortable communicating with overseas manufacturing partners
Bonus Points For
- Klaviyo email marketing experience
- Packaging design background
- Basic video editing skills

- This is a full-time, in-office role at our Queen & Spadina studio. We all genuinely like each other — remote was boring and we're not going back.
