Role Overview:
Our Junior Graphic Designer plays a key role as they act as one of the guardians of our brands. They keep everything they produce looking elevated and engaging. Working very closely with the Senior Designer and the overall Marketing team, their focus is to execute and collaborate on creative concepts and deliver key design assets to support our busy e-commerce and retail shops throughout the year.
About You:
You care deeply about brand consistency, creative craft, and the details that make design feel considered. You are a versatile team player with a passion for graphic design, including typography, composition, photo editing/grading, layout, and file production across digital and print.
You are proactive, self-motivated, and ambitious, with a positive "can-do" attitude. You bring creativity, attention to detail, and a willingness to take direction, learn quickly, and grow within a busy marketing team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in core 'Business As Usual' in-house projects, designs for digital and print marketing materials, social media, and other brand assets.
- Working under the Senior Designer and Marketing team members to bring concepts to life while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Helping create visuals that effectively communicate messages and engage target audiences.
- Supporting the team in maintaining consistency across various platforms and formats.
- Staying up to date with design trends and tools, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
Please note this role is site based in Killarney, County Kerry
Role Requirements:
- Graphic Design degree or equivalent.
- 1-2 years minimum of professional experience in a studio, agency, or in-house team.
- A portfolio showcasing your design skills, standout typography, brand identity, social content and campaign design with a strong understanding of fundamental design rules, principles, and brand concepts.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom).
- Exceptional eye for detail and a passion for creative design.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Adaptable to shifting timelines and requirements.
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks, file manage under standardised operating procedures for clean and clear server use (team members can pick up and open your work without issue).
- Preparing files for production, ensuring designs are optimised for both print and digital use and easy hand-off to third-party vendors.
- Able to work across a variety of briefs and balance workloads effectively.
- Fast learner and eagerness to develop as a designer.
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Klaviyo
- Experience with Figma
- Experience with motion design (Adobe After Effects)
- Experience supporting photo shoots or campaigns
- Basic photography or video skills
