The Role
This opportunity is ideal for a junior to intermediate designer eager to contribute in a fast‑paced environment, combining production expertise with creative flair. As part of our studio team, you’ll work on projects spanning both digital and print mediums, demonstrating flexibility and proficiency across various channels.
Typical Day / Responsibilities
- Leverage robust design and typography skills to deliver high‑quality print, digital, and motion projects.
- Create storyboards for online banner ads.
- Design layouts for email campaigns.
- Develop creative assets for out‑of‑home digital billboards.
Knowledge and Experience
- Digital: digital banner ads, digital billboards, CRM (email campaign) design, UX/website design.
- Print: newspaper, magazine, out‑of‑home advertising.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools:
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator. - Typography: solid understanding and application.
- Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, PowerPoint, Outlook. - Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines to ensure projects align with brand standards.
- 1–3+ years of experience in a related studio and/or ad agency environment.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Expertise in typography and an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with AODA and WCAG standards is a plus.
- Bonus: working knowledge of Adobe XD, After Effects, or Google Studio.
Key Skills and Qualities
- Adobe XD/Figma: working knowledge for UX/UI wire framing.
- Adobe After Effects: experience with motion graphics for online digital media.
- Familiarity with Google Double Click Digital Marketing workflows (Google Studio).
- Knowledge of Canada’s AODA and WCAG standards.
- Interest in the automotive industry and understanding of the automotive retail chain (an asset).
- Embrace emerging technologies, including AI‑powered creative tools, to enhance ideation, design exploration, content creation, and production workflows.

Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000
