Exciting opportunity for a Junior Fashion Designer!
We are supporting an international fashion retailer in their search for a creative and detail oriented Junior Fashion Designer to join their Womens Underwear team in Stockholm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career designer to develop their skills within a fast paced international environment. You will support the design team across concept development, technical sketches, and product development, working across womenswear underwear categories from initial idea through to final sample.
You will be a great fit if you:
- Have a strong passion for womenswear and a keen eye for trends, colour, and materials.
- Have experience in underwear, lingerie, swimwear, or closely related product categories.
- Are highly organised and detail focused, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast moving environment.
- Enjoy working collaboratively and communicating with cross functional teams.
- Are adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic creative environment.
- Have a strong aesthetic sense with the ability to translate ideas into clear design concepts.
Requirements:
- Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a Junior Designer or Design Assistant role, ideally within underwear, lingerie, swimwear, or intimates categories.
- Strong technical skills including proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Understanding of garment construction, materials, and technical design files.
- Experience supporting fittings and product development processes is beneficial.
- Fluent English required.
