🚀 We’re looking for a multi-disciplinary Junior Designer to join the team. 🚀

This role is a foundational engine for our growing creative team at SMP & Melody. We’re a digital commerce agency based right by London Bridge, working with massive global brands to make every moment in the customer journey shoppable—from physical in-store POS to Amazon storefronts and social media.
You’ll be collaborating closely with our Senior Digital Designer and ACD to execute high-volume design work with serious precision, while actively helping us test and integrate AI workflows into the studio.
The Day-to-Day:
- Multi-Channel Design: Pivot smoothly between physical print/retail layouts and digital spaces like marketplace imagery, social assets, and e-commerce banners.
- Studio Precision: Keep quality high across the entire design lifecycle, preparing assets for production and ensuring everything is meticulously on-brief.
- Global & Local Execution: Help adapt global creative toolkits for local markets while maintaining strict visual and brand standards.
- AI R&D: Bring an "AI-native" mindset—helping us test agentic AI tools to reduce creative churn and speed up workflows.
What you bring to the table:
- The Basics: Solid typography, layout, and color theory skills, with fluency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). (Figma knowledge is a nice bonus!).
- Hybrid Versatility: You’re just as comfortable designing for physical retail environments as you are for online marketplaces and social commerce.
- Tech Curiosity: A genuine interest in emerging channels and helping us develop augmented AI briefing assistants.
- Agency Mindset: Great communication skills, the ability to take feedback constructively, and the organizational skills to handle a fast-paced studio environment.
- Bonus points: Hand-sketching/scamping skills or basic motion/video editing skills for social.
The Details:
- Location: London Bridge / Hybrid (1–2 days a week in the studio).
