We have an excellent opportunity available for a passionate Junior Brand Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The Junior Brand Manager – Heinz Sauces position lies within the UK business unit based in the Shard, London. Reporting to a Senior Brand Manager, you’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. In this role, you’ll have a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders as well as external agencies.
In this role, together with your team, you will play a central role in driving growth for Heinz’s challenger growth brands; Heinz Mayo & Flavours, whilst having the opportunity to work across the largest most loved UK Heinz sauce brands; Tomato Ketchup & Hidden Gems.
You will have the opportunity to be responsible for key projects to help deliver the growth ambition of the Heinz brand, bring the brand strategy to life, plan and execute communication plans, and partner with different functions to successfully land NPD in the UK market. You’ll also lead bringing the Sauces portfolio activity through the line, working with the wider teams to execute flawlessly across, Shopper Marketing, eComm channels & Away From Home (AFH).
What You’ll Do
- Using consumer and performance insights to shape short and medium term plans; focusing on reporting against commercial & channel performance KPIs
- Project management of key communication plans, including creative development and media execution
- Delivering innovation and renovation projects in line with the long term strategy, in strong collaboration with category, commercial & sales teams for best-in-class on-time execution
- Working closely with cross-functional specialists, creating and driving the shopper marketing & eComm approach across the sauces portfolio to drive distribution, feature performance and in-store conversion
- Collaborating with the Away From Home (AFH) team to activate and grow presence of the Heinz sauces portfolio
- Coordinating total TE budget management for owned projects and support commercial rigour in cross-functional plans
What You’ll Need
- Experience with consumer understanding: ability to understand a consumer insight, spot consumer needs, trends and market dynamics and generate answers for them.
- Experience in communication plans: ability to project manage a comms plan from creative to media execution and to handle creative, PR and media agencies.
- Experience in Innovation projects from end-to-end (from idea to launch), with understanding of processes involving multiple functions and external partners.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive growth
- Good understanding of commercials, P&L and the UK retail landscape
