THE ROLE [*Note: Permanent full or part time – candidate dependent]
Dew Process is seeking a highly organized, proactive and creative professional to support the Artist Management team in their day to day business. This role serves as a key liaison between the artist, senior management, and outside teams (e.g. booking agents, public relations) while supporting artist development through the coordination of releases, touring & events, appearances, social, digital and audience strategy, A&R and more. The ideal candidate operates with discretion, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with care and precision.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Artist Development & Strategy
● Assist with development of artist strategy alongside the management team.
● Assist with researching, sourcing, securing, quoting & scheduling of any A&R needs (Studios, Engineers, Photographers, Directors, Graphic Artists, Songwriter sessions etc).
Social & Audience Building
● Assist with the development and execution of social media & audience strategy including updates, asset creation, planning, scheduling, drafting, posting, and monitoring.
● Data review & analysis (all social & streaming platforms) & make any recommendations (quarterly).
● Stay abreast of & report on the latest audience, social and marketing updates, trends and conversations.
Marketing
● Drive the creation of marketing assets from time to time and update if/as applicable
● If knowledgeable and experienced in this area, create and manage meta advertising campaigns for simple strategies like signs ups, pre-saves etc.
Merchandise
● Assist with creating, driving, delivering & reviewing online merch campaigns
● Assist with merch settlements (online and live)
● Assist with curating new designs and product ranges
● Assist with merchandise management for Live touring & events
Live Events & Touring
● Master Tour: data entry, application management
● Event/Guest List coordination and management
● Support the team to coordinate travel & touring logistics and bookings as needed.
● Assist with the booking/building of any aftershow activities or other special events.
● Source and secure live photographer and videographers as required to content capture shows for social usage.
● Live Performance Returns
General
● Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
● Generally assist the management team in the day to day running of the business and artist activity.
● Maintaining a database of touring & creative personnel.
● Budgeting support.
● Other research as required.
● Assist with the preparation of funding grants, pitch decks etc.
● Assist with the setting up, coordination and maintenance of shared systems: ie
- Artist Calendars & Schedules
- Project WIPs & Schedules
- Project Folders and Assets
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
● Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in the broader music & entertainment industry.
● Ability to think outside of the box.
● Artist management experience is preferred, but genuine passion in lieu of experience is also valued.
● Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
● Ability to multitask, work on numerous projects simultaneously, and use sound judgment in prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
● Proactive, anticipates needs and takes initiative, requires little direction.
● Knowledge and experience in adobe suites, canva and content editing will be highly valued.
● Ability to interface with all levels of the organization and maintain confidentiality.
● Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in execution of assigned tasks.
● Team player – have team-oriented experience and approach.
● Familiarity with music production, DSPs, and release processes.
● Passion for music, culture, and artist development.
