Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative and digitally savvy Junior Art Designer, Social Media to support the development of engaging, platform-first content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a strong eye for visual storytelling, and is excited to create scroll-stopping content in a fast-paced beauty environment.
This individual will play a key role in concepting, shooting, editing, and producing both video and static content, working closely with the social media and in-house design teams to bring campaigns and always-on content to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, engaging video and static content optimized for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest)
- Concept, shoot, and edit social-first content, including Reels, TikToks, tutorials, product demos, and trend-based videos
- Collaborate with the social media team to execute content calendars aligned with marketing priorities and campaign launches
- Partner with the in-house design team to ensure brand consistency across all visual assets
- Support paid media initiatives by producing performance-driven creative assets
- Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, formats, and platform updates, proactively bringing new ideas to the team
- Assist with content capture during photoshoots, events, and in-office production days
- Maintain organized workflows for content production and asset management
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, design, or a related field
- Strong portfolio showcasing video editing and visual design work for social platforms
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects preferred)
- Skilled in mobile-first editing tools such as CapCut, InShot, or similar apps
- Comfortable shooting content using iPhone and lightweight production setups
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok
- Strong interest in beauty, skincare, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge or experience with AI tools for creative development is a plus

Pay
- $20- $25 hourly, depending on experience and portfolio strength
