Role Description The Junior Graphic Designer supports the creation and execution of high-quality visual assets across digital and print channels. This role focuses on delivering thoughtful, detail-oriented design work that brings the ClearyX brand to life while maintaining consistency with established brand guidelines.

Working closely with the marketing team and supporting stakeholders across the organization, the Junior Graphic Designer will take direction on projects while contributing creative ideas and finding new ways to communicate visually within the brand system. The goal is to produce polished, engaging design work that supports business initiatives and strengthens the overall brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

·      Graphic Design Execution: Create visually compelling assets for a variety of marketing channels, including social media, presentations, web, digital campaigns, and email marketing.

·      Data Visualization: Translate data into clear, engaging visual formats such as charts, graphs, infographics, and dashboard visuals. Ensure information is easy to understand, visually appealing, and aligned with brand standards.

·      Print & Event Materials: Design brochures, flyers, handouts, banner stands, and other materials for conferences and events, ensuring quality and consistency across both digital and print formats.

·      Brand-Driven Design: Create work that reflects and strengthens the ClearyX brand, applying established guidelines while exploring creative approaches within the visual identity.

·      Presentation Design: Develop clean, engaging PowerPoint presentations for marketing, sales, and external communications, including data-driven slides and visual storytelling.

·      Internal Document Design: Create and format internal materials such as employee documents, reports, and training resources, ensuring clarity, consistency, and ease of understanding.

·      Motion Graphics: Create simple motion graphics for digital content, including animated text, transitions, and lightweight visual effects for social media and marketing campaigns.

·      Video Editing & Training Content: Assist with editing and assembling video content such as screen recordings, product walkthroughs, and training/support materials.

·      Website Support (UI/UX): Support website and landing page design efforts, including creating visual layouts, graphics, and assisting with user interface improvements.

·      Asset Creation: Produce and prepare design assets such as icons, graphics, infographics, and imagery for use across web, social, and marketing materials.

·      Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team and teams across the organization to support the delivery of high-quality design work aligned with project goals and timelines.

·      Attention to Detail: Ensure all deliverables are accurate, consistent, and production-ready, with a strong focus on quality and precision.

·      Design Updates & Iteration: Make revisions based on feedback and continuously refine designs to improve clarity, usability, and visual impact.

·      Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas into the team while maintaining brand consistency.

Qualifications

·      Education: Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·      Experience: 1–3 years of experience in graphic design or a related creative role, with in-house experience preferred. Internships and freelance work will also be considered.

·      Technical Skills:

o  Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

o  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

o  Working knowledge of motion design and video editing tools is an asset but not required

o  Proficient in leveraging AI-powered design tools and emerging technologies to enhance creative output, accelerate production timelines, and elevate the quality of design deliverables.

·      Data Visualization Skills:

o  Ability to design clear, effective charts, graphs, and infographics

o  Basic understanding of how to interpret data and present it in a visually digestible way

o  Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, or similar) is an asset but not required

·      Web & Digital:

o  Basic understanding of web design principles (UI/UX, responsive design)

o  Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) is an asset but not required

·      Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy.

·      Communication & Collaboration: Clear communication skills with the ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and work effectively within a team environment.

  • Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating a range of design work across digital and print. Examples of data visualizations and/or infographics is an asset.
